How does my RV tank work?

What’s going on if you had your tank pumped, and the gauge still says your tank is full?

Alternatively, solids may have covered the gauge sensors – resulting in an inaccurate reading. To avoid such issues, driving the RV around before pumping day and using a garden hose to spray water into the toilet, if necessary, is recommended.
